Anish Bafna, General Manager
Anish Bafna is General Manager. He assumed the role from 5th October 2009.
Anish is responsible for the planning and management of Baxter India. Anish aims to translate company values into everyday operations and is dedicated to preserving strong business alliances with government and customers. He is responsible for accelerating growth in India across all businesses, building profitability at country level, driving strategic investments, and enhancing the product portfolio.
Anish has a proven track record in building sustainable and profitable businesses by focusing on continued business improvement. He joined Baxter in April 2006 as Country Manager for Malaysia. Under his leadership, he established the country organization and built robust business growth. Over the years, his role expanded to include Indonesia and other export countries, and he served as interim Country Manager of Vietnam.
Prior to Baxter, Anish worked with Mega Life Sciences, Core Healthcare and DHL Worldwide Express.
Anish has more than 16 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals, including more than 15 years of operational and general management experience gained through stints in India, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Anish holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Gujarat, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Institute of Management Development and Research, Pune, India.
