Malti Sachdev, Business Unit Director, Renal
Malti took over as Business Unit Director – Renal, effective 1st of July 2010. Malti will lead Baxter’s Peritoneal Dialysis Solutions and Systems, Hemodialysis systems and dialysis consumables business for India and Indian sub-continent. Malti will provide leadership to the renal business and continue to build a stronger PD therapy business in India.
Malti has more than 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry and has worked in Boston Scientific Corporation and Dabur Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Malti joined Baxter in January 2008 as Business Manager of HD and was responsible for the Baxter alliance with Nikkiso, later moving into the Marketing role for the Renal Business Unit. Prior to Baxter, Malti worked as Senior Program Manager with PATH and the Melinda & Bill Gates Foundation.
Malti has a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Delhi University, India and a post-graduate degree in Marketing and Finance from Indraprastha University, India.
