Prasad Deshmukh, Director Quality
Prasad is Director-Quality. In this position, Prasad is responsible for all Quality Assurance responsibilities for locally manufactured as well as imported products in India. Prasad works closely with all Business Units, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to meet Baxter India’s business goals. He provides leadership and guidance in establishing quality standards and specifications appropriate to Baxter’s business in India.
Prasad joined Baxter in September 2010. Prasad brings over fifteen years of experience with him as he moves from Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, Mohali, where he was General Manager QA. Prior to that Prasad has worked with Sanofi-Aventis, Fulford and Merind in various roles including that of Head Industrial Quality & Compliance. In his previous assignments, Prasad has been associated with many successful GMP inspections conducted by various regulatory agencies, including USFDA, MHRA, Health Canada & ANVISA.
Prasad earned his B.Pharm degree from Government College of Pharmacy, Karad and is a post graduate in Pharmacy from SGSITS, Indore.
