V Ramanathan, Business Unit Director, Medication Delivery
Ramanathan (Ram) took over as Business Unit Director effective October 5, 2009. Ram provides leadership to the Medication Delivery business. He along with his team develops and ensures implementation of key strategies to accelerate sustainable business growth and profitability. He is responsible for building on the existing platform and explore opportunities to drive faster growth by establishing Baxter leadership in the key business segments.
Ramanathan has over 20 years of experience in the Medical Devices / Equipments industry in India / SAARC countries of which 3 years were front line selling, 16 years in management - Product, Sales, Business and General Management and 1 year in Consulting. Prior to joining Baxter, Ram was an independent consultant and promoter of a business growth consulting company. Earlier on he was the Country Manager of Karl Storz in India and with Boston Scientific for 9 years wherein he was a Business Head. Ram has also worked with Stryker and Indchem ATL.
Ramanathan has a Bachelor’s Degree (BE) in Electronics & Communication from Madras University and a PG Diploma in International Management from Loyola Institute, Madras.
